The message and habits of early Christians as recorded in the New Testament of the Bible are usually considered extremely out-dated. Most religious enterprises seem bent on modernizing their mission and methods. We are a group of people in Dunkerton who believe, practice and promote old style Bible Christianity within the framework of modern society.

Among us are farmers, business men and professional people who have experienced in our lives an event which a lot of people know nothing about. We have been saved, born again, or converted to Christ. At some time in each of our lives we were exposed to the preaching or teaching of the Gospel, and upon understanding that we were sinners,whose end was destruction, we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. To us that means that we are converted, and there is no question that we are different as a result.
We do not accept any sectarian of denominational titles. The Bible gives names such as "believers," "saints." "brethren," "Christians," so no other names are necessary. Instead of dividing God's people, we believe these names unite us, so our only basis for gathering as a church is " In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ." (Matthew 18:20)

Our objective, first and foremost, is to obey and honor the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. So we preach the Gospel so others will become Christians; we teach the Bible to children who attend our Sunday School, we baptize new converts and provide for them an environment in which to mature spiritually. We are not anything like a modern-day American "super-church.' We just enjoy the privilege of worshipping and serving Christ today the way Christians did 1900 years ago.
